Galerie J.J. Heckenhauer

Galerie Heckenhauer in Munich primarily shows contemporary positions from the fields of painting, drawing / works on paper and photography / media art.
Graduates of the HGB Leipzig, the AdBK Munich, the UdK Berlin and other European universities (Belgium, Russia, Ukraine…) are represented.
The gallery is currently located in Theresienstraße in Maxvorstadt in Munich, directly opposite the Brandhorst Museum, not far from the Pinakothek der Moderne, more precisely in the Kunstareal München.
Elaborately designed catalogs and editions round off the program. We are also active in the art trade with a focus on prints from the 1920s and classical modernism (Baumeister, Beckmann, Dix, Felixmüller, HAP Grieshaber, Heckel…)
