Paulina Nolte and Manuela Gernedel

Galerie Françoise Heitsch presents a duo show with Manuela Gernedel, who lives in Bad Endorf and Munich based artist Paulina Nolte. With a nod to the gallery’s architecture and their affinity for dark and moist habitats, they will descend into the depths of subterranean realms. Nolte’s work consists of drawings, sculptures, costumes and music, that are often linked together to create a final performative piece. The characters she develops are lonesome yet proud and her detailed ink and pencil drawings echo parallel worlds and fantastical, often comic like figures.
