Mystical Beings

Born in Poland in 1985, KINGA creates mystical figures and images by intricately arranging recycled textiles and capturing these magical moments pictorially with her camera. Her themes revolve around the supernatural existence of beings she believes are omnipresent in all dimensions. Inspired by nature, KINGA sees faces in the wilderness and wants to capture them for the viewer to take a deeper look into their souls and understand their connection to Mother Earth – leaving any interpretation to her own in Rorschach Test fashion. This connection to nature is also reflected in her use of recycled yet high quality materials, as well as the enduring spiritual pull that tribal art and rituals have on the artist, with bright and colourful textiles being the very source of the spiritual and feminine.
